During a chance encounter while out shopping in early February, Tom Blake (literally) bumped into a longtime friend and his partner—a couple Tom had brought together 10 years ago. It was a great opportunity to reconnect and reminisce. So, it came as a shock when, two days later, Tom got devastating news about his friend of 20 years.
