In addition to slots and table games, some casinos have a sports book, race track or other forms of gambling. Due to the large amounts of money involved, both patrons and staff may be tempted to cheat or steal, either in collusion or independently. This is why casinos have extensive security measures. Some casinos also use chips instead of actual cash, which reduces the possibility of fraud by making it less easy to see the money that is being lost or won.
