Regardless, it is best to play only when you are sober and well-rested, as poker requires quick decisions that will be impossible to make if you’re tired or drunk.
The next step is to learn how to bet correctly. This means betting when you have a strong hand, and folding when you don’t. Finally, it is important to avoid tilting and bluffing too often.
