Recent Violent Incidents, Burglaries Spark Citywide Conversation on Public Safety
Since January, there have been 10 residential burglaries in San Clemente’s Talega neighborhood. According to Capt. Tony Benfield, OCSD has seen reports of burglaries across the city rise to their previous levels from before the pandemic—when more people were at home and there were fewer burglaries.
